First and fifth graders have decided to share the learning and read together once a month. December was our inaugural month. Big kids and little kids alike thoroughly enjoyed the chance to share with one another.
First graders were able to show off their reading skills, while fifth graders helped them reach new heights. Fifth graders such as Jorge mentored first graders, like Rafael above, in solving difficult words while reading.
We are all looking forward to our January “Buddy” time!
