CIPLC is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS CASI). Founded in 1895, SACS CASI accredits over 13,000 schools and school systems throughout the United States and overseas. SACS CASI is an accreditation division of AdvancED.  AdvancED is also the parent organization of the North Central Association Commision on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and the National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE).

Advanced Placement (AO) courses are available on site at CIPLC. Students can also earn an International AP diploma which enables them to apply for colleges all of the world, not just the USA or Canada.

VHS is a program that offers 200 full semester courses in Arts, Business, English Language Arts, Foreign Language, Life Skills, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Technology. In addition, VHS offers Advanced Placement full year courses and pre-advanced placement semester courses. CIPLC also partners with other providers of online distance education courses if there are special needs or schedules to be met.
